Grandmaster Simultaneous - an evening with Temur

On the evening of Sep 21 2023, Australian Chess Champion and Grand Master, Temur Korbuykov, treated us to an exhibition of master-class chess, playing 24 of us simultaneously.

In a highlight of the year, and for many the opportunity of a life-time, Temur moved from board to board, taking a few seconds to see our reply moves, and respond with his own. He won all games without a hint of sweat on his brow.

Several of our top players are no slouches, but Temur demonstrated how incredibly powerful and talented chess is at the grand master level.
